CORNISH 4 MEAT ROAST
The Penrose Kitchen Cornish 4 meat roast is available every Sunday when booked in advance, at least 60 hours’ notice, and for a minimum of 4 people. We also offer our Sunday Lunch menu too.
Our Cornish 4 Meat Roast is a celebration of the finest producers from Cornwall’s farms. Primrose Herd itself is a mixture of traditional breeds all having their own special qualities. Gloucester Old Spots, Large Blacks and Saddlebacks are reared outdoors on the family farm near Redruth producing quality award-winning pork. Marsh Farm in Bude, North Cornwall is a working farm that has been successfully run through four generations. Keith Wickett’s chickens are free range and happy. They have a wonderful life roaming the grassy landscape from day to day. Brian Etherington Meat Company, Scorrier, have been supplying Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with high quality meat since 1954. Today they continue to supply the highest quality meat from locally reared and rare breed animals. The Cornish Lamb Company are first-generation family farmers producing delicious pasture-fed lamb from our small Porthleven farm. Their lambs are born and reared here, and allowed to grow at their natural pace. This produces meat with fantastic flavour and texture, and very little fat.
